Basseterre, St. Kitts - The Opposition People’s Action Movement are in the final stages of preparation for what is expected to be another massively exciting and historic whistle-stop this Saturday July 11th .
According to the organizers of the event, the whistle-stop is going to be another truly historic and massive occasion.
Two months ago the party held arguably the largest whistle-stop in St.Kitts-Nevis political history. The procession stretched for some 3-4 miles and was estimated by independent observers as a 300 car plus motorcade.
This weekends follow-up to that event is expected to be an even larger whistle-stop and the traffic department has already began to prepare for the expected massive motorcade.
The whistle-stop will take a non-traditional route as it will begin in the village of Borryyeau just outside Molyneuax and then head eastwards along the island main road making very brief stops in Mansion, Tabernacle,Saddlers,St.Pauls,Sandy Point,Old Road, Challengers,Boyds,the Village,Basseterre, St.Peters,Conaree,Cayon and culminate in Molyneux with the much anticipated Launch and constituency office opening of PAM’s young, dynamic, intelligient, charismatic, exciting and caring new candidate Ronald “Louie” Williams.
Most political pundits and analysts have declared that the upcoming elections will be the most significant definitely in recent times and arguably of all times. The PAM On the Road to Victory CAMPAIGN FOR CHANGE 2K9 is one of the most historic and memorable campaigns of our generation.
“It has always been tradition through the years to begin such events in Basseterre, said a member of the CAMPAIGN FOR CHANGE 2K9 organising committee. “However it was felt that the hometown of our exciting young new candidate will be the perfect setting and start point for what will be a historic whistle-stop and candidate launch,” the member continued.
The whistle-stop is expected to begin at 12 noon and the launch of PAM candidate Ronald Williams will begin at 7pm.
