CHARLESTOWN,NEVIS--Tuesday, July 7th 2009) The Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry was the main focus of attention on Tuesday morning’s edition of “The Breakfast Show” aired every Tuesday and Thursday on Choice 105.3 FM. The occasion was the celebrating of Mr. Parry’s birthday!
Host of the show, Mr. Walter Morton had Premier Parry as his special studio guest from 7:30 am. During the show the lines were opened and well wishers were allowed to call in and share their sentiments with the Premier on his special day.
In response to calypsonian Nutsy’s song, Miracle Man which played in the background during the call in session, one caller remarked to Mr. Parry, “you are really the miracle man who works hard for the people of Nevis.” In his humility to the comment, Premier Parry simply said thank you, it is my honour to serve.
Due to the overwhelming number of calls, the morning show which would have last 30 minutes lasted almost one hour.
