BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Jan. 25.2018 – POLICE on Nevis have located Wayne 'Spyer' Chapman, the Person of Interest in the death of Shirley Dawn Morton.
Morton,was found dead at Chapman’s home, who the police have since identified as her boyfriend.
According to a statement from the force, Chapman was found in Taylors Pasture, Gingerland early Thursday morning and is now in custody
The Public Relations Department indicated that Chapman, who is diabetic, is currently receiving medical assistance.
“The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force would like to thank all the persons who contributed, in one way or another, to the apprehension of Mr. Chapman. A strong partnership with the community is essential to crime detection.”
The Federation was rocked by the death of Morton, after it was reported that she died as a result of blunt force trauma.
