By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Feb. 05.2018- POLICE are reporting that a hypertension related ailment is the cause of death of 41-year-old Rosella Douglas, whose lifeless body was discovered in her home.

According to reports, police responded to a report of a sudden death at Walwyn Avenue on January 30, where the body of Douglas was found unresponsive.

She was discovered by her father lying in what appeared to be blood, while vomit was found in some of the rooms.

Forensic Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez ruled the cause of death as being Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism secondary to Hypertension. He further reported that there were no wounds to the body or fractures to the skull.

“Investigations so far have revealed that she suffered from Hypertension and had been taking medication for her condition.  She was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Doctor,” police said in a statement.
