Absconding cruise tourist in the process of being extradited

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Feb. 06.2018 – THE man who reportedly went missing after he did not return to a cruise ship in November, has been charged and is expected to be extradited to the United States.
     
    According to law enforcement officers, Keith Oneil Braid, who goes by the alias Nile Antonio Christopher, is a native of St. Christopher and Nevis and resides in Orlando. He was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on a Provisional Warrant of Apprehension for two counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder in the state of Florida, U.S.A.
     
    Further, this media house has learnt that Braid, while awaiting sentencing in the United States fled to St. Kitts and Nevis.
     
    Acting Commissioner of Police, Hilroy brand confirmed to SKNVibes News today, that he is in the process of being extradited, as the American authorities have begun the process.
     
    Braid after disembarking a cruise vessel in November, went missing for several days, which prompted the local police force to issue a missing bulletin.
     
    In a communiqué in November, police stated that the 30-year-old Nile had left to visit his wife and daughter.
     
    He was later found in the area with his family.
     
    Brandy confirmed the man was slapped with immigration related charges.
