BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Feb. 19, 2018 – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has recovered stolen items that were removed from the home of a St. Peter’s resident.
According to the force, on Thursday, February 15, Earl Thomas of Parray Extension, St. Peters reported to the Stapleton Police Station that his home had been broken into.
Thomas told officers that around 10 p.m., he found an intruder in his bedroom and a struggle ensued.
It is said that before the intruder fled the scene he managed to take a sum of money and a vault from his home.
The force in a statement confirmed that ranks were able to recover items that were reported stolen from the house while conducting search operations in the area.
“Police Officers discovered the vault and some of the items that were inside, as well as a screwdriver, in the vicinity of a property where a search warrant was being executed on Friday. The Officers continued their enquiries and searches and were able to locate more of the items stolen from the home of Mr. Thomas, along with a white mask in another area.”
The items found were taken into Police Custody. Two persons are also in Police custody assisting with investigations.
