CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, Feb. 25.2018 – POLICE on Nevis are investigating the circumstances surrounding a boat mishap that resulted in the gruesome death of a tourist yesterday (Feb. 24) at around 4:30 p.m.
According to reports out of Charlestown, Keryan Grimault Queret of France was killed after he was struck by the propeller of marine Motor Vessel “Good Luck,” while in the waters outside of the Four Seasons Resort, at Pinney’s Beach.
Information obtained by SKNVibes, indicates that the tourist sustained major lacerations to the body that resulted in his demise.
The force’s Public Relations Department confirmed the incident, and explained that the boat is owned by Vincent Perkins, but was being driven by someone else.
Queret, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene according to police, while the Coxswain is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
