CCT and supporters against domestic violence forms human chain heart

    Monday, February 26 – CCT BVI’s community initiative ‘CCT Cares’ held its’s stand against Domestic Violence on Saturday, February 24 at the Tortola Pier Park in collaboration with Miss BVI, Family Support Network (FSN), Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere (MALE), and supporters against Domestic Violence.

     

    Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator Jerilee T. Hopkins explained that, this particular event was chosen to reach out to persons who are seeking help and to demonstrate that support is here for them. “The formation of the human chain heart was intended to bring persons closer together as a community demonstrating the love and unity we should have for each other,” she added.   

     

    Speaking at the event, Marketing Manager Recaldo Richardson expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the persons who attended, “We intend to continue the CCT Cares Initiative by getting involved in other community orientated projects and activities.  We are committed to doing whatever we can, when we can to assist in raising awareness to various issues plaguing our community.” 

     

    The CCT Cares Initiative was officially launched in January 2018 where CCT donated a GOFASTLTE Modem with complementary internet service to the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School in Sea Cow’s Bay following the passage of hurricane Irma.  CCT BVI was voted the Best Cellular Service Provider in the BVI and is the BVI’s Premier 4G LTE Network.
