Dyer slapped with Dangerous Driving Charge

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Feb.28.2018 - KEVIN Dyer of Wingfield Road, Old Road – who was driving an Island Purified motor vehicle that was involved in an accident – was on Monday (Feb.26) charged with the offence of Dangerous Driving.
     
    Information obtained by this media house states that Dyer was driving Motor Bus P4608 in Frigate Bay on February 23, when he was trying to overtake another vehicle and eventually collided with a taxi bus.
     
    According to a police statement, Dyer was travelling from Frigate Bay towards Basseterre and Motor Taxi TA22 - owned by Agatha Adams of St. Peters - was travelling in the opposite direction.
     
    Some distance before reaching the second roundabout heading towards Basseterre, Dyer attempted to overtake when a collision occurred with the right side of the taxi that had several passengers inside.
     
     
    Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
