BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Mar. 18.2018 – It has been brought to the attention of this media house and its editors that an erroneous post has been circulating on social media, claiming that the body of missing person, Priston Flemming was discovered today in Phillips’ and that SKNVibes has reported such.
This media house did not make such a posting on any of our social media pages today and in fact the post being circulated was taken from an individual’s timeline and not directly from our Facebook page.
Further, based on our internal investigations, it was found that the post was made on the morning of March 2 – after the Police Force’s Public Relations Department confirmed to reporters that the body of Mikleton Tyson was found with a single gunshot wound.
According to our most recent checks with the Commissioner of Police no body has been found in the Phillips area today. .
SKNVibes cautions against the malicious circulation of incorrect information, as the family of Mr. Flemming is currently going through a period of difficulty, and this media house wishes for the young man’s safe return.
During this time, we lend our support and ask that the public be cognizant that it is a tough period for the family.
