Police charge two for St. Peters Shooting

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Mar. 21.2018 - FOLLOWING a weekend of deadly shooting incidents, the police have made a breakthrough in the St. Peters case.
     
    According to information from the Force, Iniajii Henry along with a juvenile, were each charged on a warrant in the first instance, for the attempted murder of Ricardo Jeffers.
     
    Both are reportedly from the Shadwell area.
     
    The police force confirmed that the juvenile was charged in the presence of a probation officer and a family member.
     
    In a statement, the police said that about 9 a.m. on March 17, 24-year-old Ricardo Jeffers of Monkey Hill got into an argument with another person, then a fight ensued.
     
    Reports indicated that gunshots were heard at some point during the fight and Jeffers began to run away when he was shot once in his side.
     
    He was subsequently rushed to the J N France Hospital and  treated.
