Cause of death for Francis and Archibald revealed

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Mar. 23.2018 – LAW enforcement officers have revealed the cause of death for the two men that died during last weekend's shooting spree.
     
    The police force confirmed that Calvin Archibald and Glenville Francis were two of the four persons that were shot during a deadly 24-hour span - they succumbed to their injuries.
     
    On Friday (Mar. 16), Glenville Francis’ body was found near a railway in Newton Ground, and according to the police force, based on a post mortem examination by Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Alexandrov, he died as a result of a single fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
     
    In the case of 30-year-old Calvin Archibald who resided in Sandy Point, Dr. Alexandrov concluded that his death was due to multiple gunshot wounds.

    According to the police, at around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday (Mar. 17)  they responded to reports of a shooting at a shop in Sandy Point where they found Archibald with gunshot wounds.

    He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed.

    The police force pointed out that based on their investigations thus far, the 30-year-old man was at a shop in the Crab Hill area, when an unknown assailant shot him multiple times. 
     
    Police are currently investigating both incidents.
