Baby Phat & Phat Farm to showcase at BVI Summer Sizzle

ROAD TOWN, Tortola – WORLD renowned Baby Phat and Phat Farm are among some of the ‘big-name’ designers scheduled for this year’s Summer Sizzle event to be held in Tortola.

The event, which is in its third year, will be held from Thursday, July, 23 to Sunday, July 26.

It is described as the ultimate fashion getaway this summer, as the event, dubbed “Summer Sizzle BVI 2009”, will be hosted by Terry Donovan’s Signature. 

The sizzling hot weekend will feature spectacular events such as Culture and Style Welcome Bash, Fashion & Beauty Bazaar, White Sunset Fashion Fete and a grand event called the Summer Sizzle Fashion Show and After-Party. 

In addition to Baby Phat and Phat Farm, other international designers as well as models that will be participating in the event include Bravo-TV Project Runway finalist Korto Momolu, Caribbean’s first lady of fashion Claudia Pegus of Trinidad, New York Evening Wear designer Cesar Galindo, hot New York label Aqua Couture by Roger Gary, fabulous New York Accessory designer Earth Rowe of Elements of Earth, Tortola native Kristin Frazer of Trefle Designs, Adrienne Ettienne of St. Thomas, and Darryl Hammond of St. Croix.

Summer Sizzle BVI will feature other highlights such as a day sail excursion, beach barbecues, and island tours allowing visitors to swim, sail and enjoying all what nature’s little secret has to offer.
