Immigration officer and son arrested for drug possession

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Apr. 22.2018 – MOTHER and son duo, Lisa Francis and Ticardo Francis, have both been charged with Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
     
    Lisa Francis, who is said to be an Immigration Officer, of Conaree Village, was formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.
     
    According to law enforcement officials, she was also charged for the offence of Doing an Act Tending and Intending to Pervert the Course of Justice, Contrary to Common Law which was committed on July 28, 2017 in Basseterre.
     
    Meanwhile, her son Ticardo, also of Conaree was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.
     
    He was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on May 14, 2018.
     
    A raid conducted by police on the home of the officer revealed large quantities of marijuana. 
     
    Additionally, Jack Crawford also of Conaree was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.
     
    He was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on May 14, 2018.
