BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, May 04, 2018 - AN autopsy performed on the decomposing male body that was found at Ottley’s Level was ruled inconclusive.
The autopsy was performed by Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Alexandrov yesterday (May 1).
According to a press release issued by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), “his report has ruled that the cause of death was inconclusive due to the advanced state of decomposition.”
On April 27. a report was made at the Basseterre Police Station of a body being found in the mountainous area of West Farm which is also referred to as Ottley’s Level. Officers from several units responded and upon arrival at the scene, the decomposing body of a male individual was seen lying on the bathroom floor of a building that houses the systems for different radio/TV stations.
Efforts are still being made to ascertain the identity of the individual and police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
