BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, May 24. 2018 – CONTINUING with its corporate responsibilities, telecommunications giant FLOW St. Kitts today partnered with the Ministry of Health to provide free health screening to those in need.

The screening, which was held in Independence Square, saw a moderate turnout.

Acting Marketing Manager with Flow, Sharisma Patrick said that their participation in the activity forms part of the company’s corporate responsibility.

Speaking with SKNVibes News, Patrick explained that the purpose of the fair is to primarily to bring free health services to the people who are often not able to be screened due to work purposes.

“Sometimes we are all busy whether it be with work or other activities, and we do not take the time to take care of our bodies. So, we have brought the services to you,” Patrick stated.

During the one-day fair, people were able to get screened for hypertension, blood sugar, rapid HIV/AIDs testing among other ailments.

According to the Acting Marketing Manager, the partnership is not a one-off initiative for the company.

“This is our first initiative and we saw the need for such a venture. We saw it necessary to bring this service to the citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis. Based on the turn out this morning and the feedback from the general public, we would probably do it once a month.”
