CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – THE members of Nevis’s Odisi Band are getting ready to hit the Federation with their latest album which was officially launched yesterday (July 21).

‘Ah so we party’, described by band leader Eazi as having a good mixture of reggae, soca and pop, was launched on two of the island’s radio stations but fans will have to wait until tomorrow (July 23) to get their hands on the compact discs.

According to Eazi, two of the tracks have already been ‘ripping up’ the airwaves since the album’s release last week. He identified these tracks as “Floor dem” and “See de sweetness deh”.

Of the album, Eazi said, fans could expect a variety of music that they would love.

“Our fans can expect bigger things than last year.”

The album consists of 14 tracks including a number of collaborations, one of which is a reggae fusion with Jah Fire out of St. Kitts.

Eazi said the band is looking forward to Road March and hopefully a win. He said that with good judging it is a real possibility.

Odisi, which was formed in 2002, consists of seven members. The band writes and produces all of its music.
