By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Jun. 1. 2018 – THE Final Four teams competing in the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) 2018 Premier League Playoffs are confident and ready to take to the pitch to do battle.

Defending champions, FLOW 4G Cayon Rockets, S.L. Horsford St. Paul’s, SOL Island Auto Conaree and RAMS Village Superstars will lock horns for the top divisional title in the federation, with the tournament kicking off tomorrow evening at Warner Park.

Speaking at a press conference at Football House today (June 1)), Conaree’s Delwayne Delaney told reporters that it was a tough season for his unit, noting that they are happy to have returned to the playoffs after missing out last year.

With the return, Delaney is urging supporters to come out in their numbers and create a sea of yellow and green at the stadium, the colours of the team as they cheer on their boys.

“To my fellow competitors, congratulations for making it thus far. It has been a grueling season, it has been a testing season [and] the schedule of games we had to deal with. Nonetheless, we are here; again, we missed out last season but guess what, we are back,” Delaney said.

Tyrone O’Loughin, assistant coach of Cayon confidently told reporters that his team is looking to “three-peat” in the competition after they won titles in the 2016/2017 season and 2017/2018.

The defending champions are on the hunt for their second trophy of the season after taking home the FA Cup earlier in the year.
Meanwhile, Village Superstars Coach, Jeffry Hazel, whose team finished at the top of the final point standing reminded that his unit has not won the league since 2011 or 2012, and with that, they are out to end the drought.

    S. L. Horsford St. Paul’s are singing a different song, as Austin Huggins pointed out his team is on the hunt for more glory this season.

Though he expects the playoffs to be entertaining and want supporters to come out, the unit is fit and ready to take to the pitch.'

The four teams will play each other once before the top two advance to the best of three finals.

Action gets underway from 6:00 p.m. with FLOW 4G Cayon Rockets taking on SOL Island Auto Conaree, followed by RAMS Village Superstars talking SL Horsford St. Paul’s from 8:30. p.m.

Ticket prices are EC$20 for grounds and $30 for the stand, with the SKNFA also offering season tickets for the round robin segment of the competition.
