Police search nets drugs and illegal items

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 15.2018 – POLICE have confirmed that following a raid of the G-Spot Bar in Sandy Point, one person has been arrested and charged after the discovery of a number of illegal items that were taken into their custody.
     
    Police said that on June 08, officers conducted a search at the bar where several persons were present. As a result, a number of vegetable materials suspected to be Cannabis, four knives, one book bag with one pair of black combat military boots, one black, green, red and yellow t-shirt and one jumpsuit with a hoodie attached were found.
     
    The Force’s Public Relations Department stated that no one was held accountable for the find.
     
    However, a follow-up search was conducted on the premises of one of the persons who was present at the G-Spot Bar during the search.
     
    During the operations, a large quantity of cannabis was found and taken into police custody. Resulting from the June 10 search, Réice Warner of Farm Road, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
     

    He has since been granted bail, for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018.
