Voluntary blood donation
- Blood donations can be made at the blood bank (1 869 465 2551 ext 2149) 8:30am -1:30pm Mon-Fri
- Age of donors 17- 65 years, below 17 years a signed guardian consent is required
- Potential donors should have a healthy meal at least an hour before donating and drink plenty of fluids the day of donation especially water
- Blood donation is a momentary discomfort that can provide a lifetime of difference for a patient.
