BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Joan Small, a Super Traps Line employee of Kajola Kristada Ltd who has, once again, captured the prestigious title of Employee of the Month.
She received the award for May, 2018. Her previous win was for January, 2017.
With a bright smile and an infectious personality, Small said that she has been employed at the company for the past 19 years.
Small told SKNVibes that she was not expecting the win and when the supervisors had completed their march around the factory and stopped at her line, she thought that her co-worker was the one who had taken the award.
“I really thought it was friend [co-worker] next to me who had won,” she said.
She said that since her win at the beginning of last year, she had remained consistent in her production, noting that she believes consistency plays a major role in the workplace.
The Cayon resident noted that she will continue to strive towards consistency and excellence.
Small’s Supervisor, Valerie Adams, told this media house that the Employee of the Month winner “has done well” in her job performance.
“She has been outstanding in everything – attendance, targets, attitude – everything,” she said, adding that Small could be moved from one area to the other whenever need without an issue.
She noted that her overall work ethic is spectacular.
Small stated that hard work and dedication do pay off. She encouraged everyone not to lose focus and to build themselves in the workplace.
