PICK 4 player ‘dreamt’ her big win

By: Caribbean Lottery, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts Nevis, July 24th, 2018 --  J.M. will start the summer off on a high note after purchasing a lottery ticket at Tony’s Liquor Centre. The lucky ticket earned J.M. $20,830 in the Caribbean Lottery’s exciting Pick 4 game.

J.M. chooses her lottery numbers based on her dreams. “Some people play on car numbers or instincts,” she says, “I have a dream book that I use.” When pressed for further details, J.M. admitted that, “Sometimes I do a Quick Pick (which is where the computer picks the numbers for you).”
This isn’t J.M.’s first big win. She took home $8,000 before while playing Pick 3, which is actually her favourite of the games offered by Caribbean Lottery. “It’s easier to win,” she says of Pick 3. “The money might be smaller but if you have a good number, you can win a good amount of money.” J.M. says it was her cousin who encouraged her to play Pick 4 on this occasion.
Sabina Harrinarain, Business Development Associate at Caribbean Lottery, enthused: “We at Caribbean Lottery are so excited for J.M. and we congratulate her on her win. She’s been playing since we launched back in 1996, and this is her second big win. We encourage her to keep on dreaming!” Ms. Harrinarain hopes that more people will play the variety of games offered by the Caribbean Lottery Company Ltd as the proceeds support vital works undertaken by the government.
The money will make a big difference in J.M.’s life as it will alleviate some of her financial difficulties. “I’m going to buy things like furniture and fix up my house,” she said, adding that she will continue to play.
“You have to be in it to win,” she advises people who may be hesitant to play. “You can’t just play once. You have to have patience, hold the faith.”
