BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Jul. 24.2018 – WITH a mantra of nation building, the OPEN Interactive family has answered a call to assist in the security of one of the federation’s leading primary institutions.

On Friday (Jul. 20), OPEN Interactive donated several security cameras to the Dr. William Connor Primary School, which was recently burglarized.

Stolen from the premises of the institution was an undisclosed sum of money that was expected to be used to offset the institution’s graduation exercise.

Principal, Jean Nisbett-Boddie, reached out to Akilah Byron-Nisbett for assistance, she in turn jumped on the initiative to assist and contacted OPEN Interactive.

The media, marketing and public relations company quickly jumped on assisting in the community in any way possible.

CEO of Open Interactive's , Stachio Williams presented the school with several surveillance cameras and noted that his company will cover the cost for installation.

Williams said it saddened the hearts of the persons at OPEN Interactive that people would engage in such malicious activities.

“But, be it as it may, we are being good neighbours and being good corporate citizens; and OPEN Interactive as a community-oriented organization we stepped up to the cause without hesitation,” said Williams.

The CEO handed over a wireless security system with four cameras, noting that they will be installed at strategic locations around the institution.

“We want to ensure that the students, teachers and all involved here at the school will be kept safe, and we can at least monitor activities…and prevent those activities (malicious),” explained Williams.

In expressing thanks for the donation, principal Nisbett-Boddie acknowledged that the school has its adversities but urged OPEN Interactive and other similar institutions to come on board and help them in times of need.

“At this time, though we have our pitfall, you can come onboard and partner with the school and the community in helping us to keep our school safe from whatever hazard or adverse effects that we may face in our community,” said Nisbett-Boddie.
