BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – CONGRATULATIONS are in order for first time winner of the Kajola Kristada Ltd’s Employee of the Month (EoM) award for June, 2018.
Diane Walters has been employed with the company for the past 16 years and, although she has been eyeing the award for quite some time, has never captured the title until now.
The mother of two said the win came as a great surprise to her, having never won the award before, she was “nowhere near expecting it”.
To select the Employee of the Month, the members of the EoM Committee would make their way along the plant floor, bobbing and weaving through the factory singing the EoM song and making celebratory noise with the aid of a tambourine and other makeshift instruments.
They would make several rounds around the factory to keep the suspension going until they come to a stop at the winner.
Walters said she has remained consistent in her work, she sees herself as a very efficient person. She said she is always on time, has a good attitude and works very hard in everything she does.
Shetold SKNVibes that she admires Kajola Kristada Ltd for continuously giving back to its employees, noting that it is good when employees put in hard work and is rewarded.
She encouraged other employees to continue working hard, remain efficient and consistent in their good works and improve themselves where necessary.
