Greetings, from the unique village of Cotton Ground! I am Kishsandra Williams a distinguished contestant in the Culturama 35th Miss Culture Queen Pageant.
I am a nineteen year old Nevisian beauty who aspires to become a Computer Technician. I am certain that with the experience and knowledge gained from entering the Miss Culture Pageant I will be able to attain some of my goals in life.
I attained my education at the St Thomas’ pre school, the St Thomas’ Primary school and the Charlestown Secondary school, where a firm foundation was laid. I am presently not employed, but previously I was employed at the Four Seasons Resort as a Beach & Pool Attendant.
If I were to describe myself I would say that I am a warm and friendly individual. I have a positive out look on life and love the company of other people especially my friends and family. I am also a talented individual. In my leisure time I enjoy sunbathing on the shores of our beautiful beaches, playing games on the computer and having a good laugh with loved ones.
While I was in school I enjoyed playing volley ball and net ball. I hope that one day I would be able to represent Nevis Internationally in either of these games.
My future aspiration is to become a computer technician but my immediate goal is to become the 35th Annual Culturama Queen. If my dream were to come true on the night of Sunday 2nd August 2009 and I were crowned Miss Culture I would want to start my reign by becoming a spokes person for the HIV Aids Coordinating Unit here in Nevis. I feel that the youths of my island are still not quite aware of the consequences of promiscuity both to themselves and to the community. As Miss Culture I think that they would listen to what I have to say.
I would also like to travel and be the best ambassador that Nevis has ever had. I would like the opportunity to participate in other shows and learn the cultures of our neighbouring islands, and teach them about this charming and peaceful gem - Nevis.
As a personal Motto I say, ‘Life is sweet and short, live, love and laugh to the fullest.’
