BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Jul. 30.2018 – MISS. St. Kitts, Sheniqua Lanns won the top prize in regional pageantry, when she claimed the 2018 Ms. Jaycees title last evening (Jul. 29) in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.
Lanns dominated the event, strutting her way to the title by beating out six other delegates from across the region.
With the 57th edition of the pageant being held at the Antigua Recreation Ground, Lanns topped, Miss Antigua and Barbuda -Ashley Boodhoo who took the first runner up position, while Miss USA Caribbean – Felicia Limada occupied the Second Runner up spot.
The St. Kitts beauty took home the titles of Miss Photogenic and True to the Theme.
Competing in five judged segments, Lanns copped the ‘Best Performing Talent’ award with her artistic dance piece.
Limada was judged to have the ‘Best Swimwear and Dress for Evening Wear’, Miss St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Criscione Morgan took the Best Interview title.
The ‘Best Modelling Skills Evening Wear’ award was taken by Boodhoo, Chancy Fontenelle of St. Lucia won the Congeniality prize.
The 2018 Miss Jaycees Pageant forms part of the activities for the Antigua and Barbuda Carnival.
