BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Aug. 19 - POLICE have yet again issued a Wanted Bulletin for Vincent Taylor, who is now a person of interest in the shooting death of Police Sergeant Leon Powell.
Powell was gunned down following an armed robbery incident at his place of business in the early hours of Saturday (Aug. 18).
Police last evening issued the bulletin which is third so far for the year.
Taylor has been described as 37-years-old, weighing 160 lb; has dark brown eyes and is medium built.
His addresses were given as McKnight/ Sandy Point.
Police said the young man goes by the aliases Shungy/Bungo/ Lyah, and his hair is believed to be cut low. and is 5’10”.
They indicated in the bulletin that a warrant is in existence for the arrest of Vincent Taylor of McKnight for the armed robbery committed in Sandy point on December 26, 2017.
Further, they confirmed that he is a person of interest in Saturday’s shooting.
Police said that he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information that may lead to his capture is asked to contact the nearest police station or the Violent Crimes Unit on 467-1887, 467-1888, 662-3462.
