CCT cares initiative gifts back to school supplies to YEP

    Wednesday, August 22 – On Wednesday, August 22, CCT’s Marketing team presented the children of the non-profit Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) with backpacks, school supplies and ended the day with a basketball game challenging a few of the students at a one on one. Commenting on the presentation, YEP Executive Director Mr. Stacy Mather said, “We are grateful to receive these back to school supplies for the children and we appreciate CCT being a long term supporter of YEP in many ways including donations.”   

     

    “What we love the most about CCT is that they bring the energy that CCT has and makes us feel inclusive of ‘CCT is We’.  They are not just here to give out, but to give back in a full way through entertaining, engaging and being part of what YEP stands for,” Mr. Mather expressed. CCT’s Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Jerilee T. Hopkins said that, “This presentation was done under the CCT Cares initiative and we will remain active and involved throughout the territory welcoming the opportunity to give back to our community.” 

     

    CCT has scheduled a territory wide Back to School Drive beginning with Tortola on Saturday, August 25 at CCT Business Office located on Fishlock Road opposite the Fire Station from 1pm to 5pm; Virgin Gorda on Sunday, August 26 at the Walters Recreational Park from 2pm to 5pm; Anegada on Wednesday, August 29 at Anegada Reef Hotel 10am to 3pm; and Jost Van Dyke on Friday; August 31 at Foxy’s from 12pm to 4pm. CCT will remain active and involved in the community supporting the BVI in the rebuilding process along with tackling issues that affect the territory.
