BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ANOTHER young man was gunned down on Monday night, August 27 at Pine Garden in Shadwell.
Mickail Liburd, 32, is the latest shooting victim. According to a police press release, he was visiting someone in the area at the time of the incident.
“Preliminary investigations have revealed that on arrival, as he was getting out of the vehicle, three armed men came out of the nearby bushes and opened fire on him. He was shot multiple times about the body. Enquiries have also revealed that he ran a short distance then fell. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene,” the press release stated.
Technicians from the Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force visited and processed the scene and items of evidential value were taken into Police Custody.
