BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 13, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) -- Still reeling from the euphoria of having whitewashed an opposing team 13-0 in the second round of the round-robin stage in the 23rd edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition, on Tuesday Beers Domino Club suffered a home loss.

Playing during the third segment of play in the second round of the domino league, Beers were at home in Bernette Bar in Hidden Alley Lodge Village where they faced the visiting Christchurch Domino Club. Not bothered by their away disadvantage, the team led by Captain Zeyn Pencheon went ahead and beat their hosts comfortably 13-8.

Beers’ contemporaries, Guinness Domino Club also of Bernette Bar in Hidden Alley had travelled to Saddlers in Constituency Number Six where they met home team Saddlers Domino Club. The home team sobered up the visitors with a 13-11 beating.

In other games played on Tuesday evening, Unity beat Sylvers 13-9 at Cuban Bar in Lodge Project; Parsons beat Phillips 13-6 at Mansion Domino House in Mansion; and in the two matches held at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project, Unstoppable beat Small Corner Bar 14-4, while Giants beat Molineux 13-7.

Fourth segment of play in the second round of the round-robin stage in the 23rd edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition is supposed to take place tonight (Thursday September 13). However, league coordinator Calvin Farrell has said that they are still looking at the weather and teams will be advised.

If matches will take place, champions Lodge will meet immediate former champions Unity at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Village, and Beers will meet Phillips at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion in Molineux. Other matches will be Guinness vs. Christchurch at Domino House in Mansion; Small Corner Bar vs. Sylvers at Tacky Bar in Hidden Alley Lodge Village; Giants vs. Unstoppable at Molineux; and Saddlers vs. Parsons at Bradshaw Bar in Parsons Ground.
