By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com
CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, Sept. 21.2018 - POLICE on Nevis have laid two charges against one of their own for breaking the traffic laws.

Constable Lennox Hodge of the Nevis Division, who was arrested yesterday (Sept. 20), was charged with two traffic-related offences.

According to the Police Force’s Public Relations Department, he was charged for Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and for Driving Without Insurance.

Police said that he was driving a privately-owned vehicle at the time of the incident. He is expected to appear before the Basseterre Magistrate Court today.

He is expected to face disciplinary action as well. The force disclosed in a press statement that, as in all cases when an Officer is charged with an offence and put before the Court, Constable Hodge is also expected to be suspended from duty with half pay until the matter is disposed of at the Court.
