September 18th, 2018 -- On Tuesday September 18th, Noah Mills, the Chairman of the St, Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee, visited the Irish Town Primary School to make a Brief Presentation to the Students, Staff and Management Team related to Independence. Mills took a Team of Calypsonians with him, namely the reigning National Senior Calypso Monarch, Karissa Queen Independent" Willet and her predecessor, Craig "King Craig" McDowell, along with the Director of Culture, Troy Mills.
In keeping with the Independence Slogan: "Love, Service, Patriotism, and Pride, Independence 35", the Team choose the Word "PRIDE" as the DNA of their Presentations. After underscoring the Words "Proud" and "Pride," and applying them to School-related scenarios, the session ended in song and dance, where the Chairman gave out little tokens to reward the high energy performances from the excited Students.
The Stakeholders at the Irish Town Primary School and all Presenters are thanked for their involvement.
