CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – THE Pink Lily Breast Cancer Care Nevis Foundation has launched its latest venture aimed at raising funds for combating the disease on the island.
According to information received from the Foundation, “Noo to Yoo is a Pink Lily shop, selling quality new and nearly new items, generously donated to help raise funds for Pink Lily breast cancer care on Nevis”.
Items will include a range of clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, along with household articles, toys and gifts. Most of the items will be acquired through donations by members of the community, with the first set of collection taking place between July 31 and August 15.
The first sale is scheduled for Saturday, August 29 at the Charlestown Market, and others will follow on a monthly basis subject to donations.
Pink Lily founder Leah Parris-Cambridge said in an email to SKNVibes that the Foundation would be using a mobile shop until its members could find a suitable venue for the Pink Lily drop-in centre, which would house the shop.
