October 16th, 2018 -- OPEN Interactive, a Basseterre-based consultancy firm, provides expert insights into key thematic areas to support nation-building in our Public/Private Partnerships.
OPEN Interactive has learned that one of our internal surveys, focusing on some Facebook and SKNVibes users, has been accessed and published by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and has been referenced erroneously as an indication of current voter sentiment.
OPEN Interactive has never published and has not authorised the use and/or publication of any of its internal polls. The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party’s use of this internal document is strictly unauthorised.
These polls are not commissioned by or carried out for the benefit of any political party. They are informal and unscientific, and are therefore not for public use. Any political party publishing and relying on these polls does so at the risk of misleading the public, and to their own detriment.
Our Executives are currently in communications with our legal counsel to advise on the best course of action to prevent future unauthorised use of internal documents.
