Seven Inspectors confirmed and other Officers promoted

    Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 05, 2018 (RSCNPF): Excitement and applause filled the air at the Police Training Complex on Monday, December 03 as the Acting Commissioner of Police announced the confirmation of seven Police Inspectors in their ranks and the promotion of several other Officers. 

     

    Acting Commissioner of Police, Hilroy Brandy, made the disclosure at a Commissioner's Lecture. He revealed that the Officers would be getting letters shortly indicating that their confirmation takes effect from May 01, 2016. The Officers confirmed are Inspectors Everton Mitchum, James Francis and Irving Bradshaw from Division ‘A’, Inspector John Bergan from Division ‘B’ and Inspectors Eurita Collins-Percival, Reynold Myers and James Stephen from Division ‘C’.
     
    The Acting Commissioner also announced the results of recent interviews from which several Officers were appointed to act in the posts of corporal, sergeant and inspector.

    Promoted to act in the rank of Inspector were Joel Caines and Shorna Edwards. Promoted to act in the rank of Sergeant were Marvin Thompson, Valon Hodge, Travis Henry and Kishorn Charles. Promoted to act in the rank of corporal were Pearline Tross, Royston Isaac, Kamara Phillip, Andrea Battice, Cleon Michael, Leon Michael, Antonio Browne, Vivian Caesar, Ronrick Huggins, Ryan Haywood and Dijon James. Each of them will act in the position until their performance is reviewed at a later date, after which their qualification for confirmation in the rank will be determined.
     
    Commissioner of Police (Ag.) Brandy was joined by Force Personnel Officer, Clifford Govia, in congratulating all the Officers who were confirmed and promoted. The successful Officers also received high praises and commendations from their colleagues who wished them every success in their careers.
