The Cable inks partnership with JAD cash owners

By: The Cable, Press Release

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS: 11 February, 2018 -- Customers of The Cable will now have another payment option with the formalizing of a partnership between The Cable and Genesis Innovative Management Inc (owners of the JAD cash app).

At the signing ceremony held at the conference room of The Cable on Tuesday, CEO of The Cable, Patricia Walters said this is a ‘win win’ for our customers and for local innovators. “By embracing this mobile payment solution for our customers, we are using technology to bring convenience to their lives. Considering the challenges of finding parking and queuing in lines, the JAD app will eliminate the need to come to our office to pay your bills, but instead offers the freedom to do so online, anytime and anywhere using your smart phone,” she explained.

She said partnerships of this nature can be viewed as ‘empowering our own’. “We are proud to endorse our own people as creators and innovators of technology that will make life and doing business easier,” she added.

Customers are encouraged to download the app from the Google Play store or the Apple store and then top up the account on their smartphone in cash or via credit or debit card. They can also locate the Cable Company on the JAD app or scan The Cable’s QR code on their bill or anywhere they may see it.

CEO of Genesis, Mr Alex Straun announced that the partnership with The Cable is the first phase of a wider spectrum of opportunities that they hope to roll out to the people of St. Kitts & Nevis. “JAD is a very useful tool which enables businesses to boost their revenue collection and enhance efficiency in the collection of funds by accepting payments directly on their own website,” he pointed out.

The Cable is now the first communications company where the JAD app can be used as a payment tool.
