Charlestown, Nevis (Tuesday, December 18, 2018) - The Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) will honour the former leader of the Nevis Reformation Party, the Hon. Joseph Parry with a Grand Gala.
The present leader of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) Mr. Robelto Hector, said the Gala, will be staged at the Nevis Performing Arts Center (NEPAC) on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 7pm. This momentous occassion, "will recognize the hardwork and true dedication" that the Honourable Joseph Parry has given to the residents of Nevis for over 45 years.
"On this upcoming occasion, well-wishers will have the opportunity to personally applaud his many works", Mr. Hector said, adding that it will be a moment of “tribute and honor,” for the two-time former Premier.
"During Hon. Parry’s tenure, he set up a modern tourism sector, was a past educator, empowered residents to be granted university education, He made a major contribution to the development and understanding of Social Security services in Nevis, served as President of the Nevis Cricket team and marketed local Agriculture to hotel’s and private businesses islandwide,” said Mr.Hector.
The Grand Gala, will feature a local band, dinner and giving tribute to the NRP man with a great legacy... the Hon. Joseph Parry.
Tickets for the Gala dinner and dance are on sale for $EC150 and can be purchased from Errol Pemberton’s store on Main Street, Charlestown or from Sister C at 667-6075.
