BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, January 11, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) -- After a hotly contested season, history was made in 2018 when a team from outside Constituency Number Seven was declared winner of the 23rd edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition.

Parsons Domino Club of Parsons Ground in Constituency Number Six claimed the 2018 championship title and will on Saturday January 12 receive the coveted trophy from sponsor of the longest running domino competition league, Prime Minister Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, who is also the Area Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Number Seven.

According to the coordinator of Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League, Calvin Farrell, the prize giving ceremony will be held at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion in Molineux. The function, which will be attended by all the teams and players that took part in the tournament, will start at 6:00 pm.

A club to watch during the presentation ceremony will be Molineux Domino Club who after taking the Best of the Rest championship title caused considerable havoc when at the less prestigious ‘champion of champion’ clash of the same tournament went on to upset the new champions.

Mr Farrell explained that the prize giving ceremony will honour all those who took part and assisted in one way or the other, to make the 2018 tournament a success. He also revealed that apart from the prize giving ceremony there will be a special pairs’ competition that will take place that will not be club-based, but will involve players from the different clubs.
