BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - VYBZ KARTEL, also referred to as Addi di techa learder of the Portmore Empire, has recently teamed up with Ms. Triniti on a track entitled ‘Lock Down’.
The steamy hot single shows a softer side of Vybz Kartel instead of the hardcore lyricist he is known to be, while Ms. Triniti is said to add her teasing sultry personality.
According to Ms. Triniti, the radio DJs are loving this one and share similar sentiments about the songs’ potential with the selectors in the streets, while adding that she is a big fan of Vybz Kartel, so it was kind of crazy working with him.
According to jahkno.com, Ms. Triniti met Kartel at a restaurant in Kingston on her first visit to Jamaica and they both expressed their desire to work on a single together.
This has been the second collaboration the English-born California-base artiste done with a Jamaican artiste. She also recently had another single with ‘King of the Dancehall’, Beenie Man, which video now features on VH1.
