BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS 14 August, 2009 Half way through its Summer Promotion, LIME, the Caribbean’s leading full service telecomms provider has reported distributing prizes to the value of EC$62,500. Now in its fifth week, five additional customers joined the winners’ circle at a prize presentation at the Cayon Street Retail Store this week.
The lone male winner Orelius Julien, was beaming with happiness as he stepped up to collect his prized Blackberry Javelin. Mr David Lake, Country Manager was on hand to make the presentation to two of this week’s winners in the persons of Pearlina Carty and Shanika Gumbs. Ms Carty is guaranteed at least a free tank of petrol when she redeems her voucher valued at EC$150. How Shanika Gumbs will spend her US$500 cash was not disclosed, but it is expected that she will put it to good use at the right time.
Meanwhile, if Terrilyn Rogers’ summer dream was to acquire an Ipod, then LIME fulfilled that dream when Marketing Executive, Deanne Arthurton presented her one on Wednesday. On that same day, Kerry Freeman received her prize of a camera just in time to capture the sites and scenes of the final days of summer.
What made these customers so lucky? All five winners this week qualified by Talking for 5 minutes, just one of four ways that customers can win in this year’s summer promotion. Otherwise, customers can text the word UP to 5463, purchase new products and services from LIME’s portfolio or top up $20 or more on their LIME mobile.
Not limiting the chances to win, there are several instant prizes available to customers who choose to participate via the texting option. Texting UP to 5463 may generate a message notifying customers of winning one of a number of instant prizes including caps, T-shirts, folding chairs, gym towels, backpacks and Baby Tees. Eighty five instant prize items in total were up for grabs during week 5. A full display of the instant prize items can be viewed at LIME’s Retail Store on Cayon Street.
