BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ONE of the original members of the Nu Vybes Band, Analdo ‘Al’ Williams, who resided in Atlanta has passed away.
SKNVibes learned that Williams died early this morning (Aug. 16), and unconfirmed reports suggest that he may have suffered a stroke.
Williams was married and is the father of three sons. He was described as a very friendly, ambitious man who would be remembered for his laughter and jokes.
According to a former member of the Nu Vybes Band, Carl ‘Ozzy’ Osborne, the entire Nu Vybes family is mourning the loss of Williams.
Williams was drummer and lead vocalist when he was a part of the band and was instrumental in the then hit ‘Sexy Julie’ on the ‘Seducer’ album produced by the band.
That album was said to be one of the first album’s to ever be produced by a band in St. Kitts on a compact disc.
