    CHARLESTOWN
    NEVIS (November 21, 2005) -- Nevis provided the setting for a seven-day photo shoot for a clothing company based in Miami, Florida. A 10 member crew along with four professional models graced the shores of Nevis using scenic spots as the backdrop for their summer 2006 Boston Proper catalogue.
    Service that they were invited to shoot on Nevis by Vila Paradiso, a villa rental facility which caters to high end clients on the west coast of the island. He said the hotel would be given exposure in the catalogue.
     
    The group which leaves Nevis on Tuesday were seen on Friday November 18, 2005, doing a photo shoot at the Charlestown Pier and according to Mr. Alan, they had already completed shoots in other parts of Charlestown and other business establishments.
     
    "We shot mainly in town and of course at the hotel where we are staying, and other restaurants.  We shot at Coconut Grove Restaurant, we shot at a plantation inn on the east side of the island called Montpelier and we are going to try to go to the Botanical Garden before we leave," the Art Director explained.

    He described Nevis as a beautiful island and expressed his intention to return to the island to do more work on Nevis Peak. "It has been a really great experience, except the three days we had bad weather but now the weather is really great and we love it. Definitely we will come back, it is beautiful. We wanted to go to the mountains and stuff so we have more to explore here," Mr Alan said.
     
    A Brazilian professional model called simply "Jianne" who was a part of the team shared her thoughts on Nevis, noting its beauty and that she had fallen "in love" with the island and its sunshine.  A professional model for the past 11 years she said she had much experience and had worked in the industry with haut couture magazines including Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.  She too indicated her intention to return to Nevis with her partner on her leisure time.
