BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ANOTHER reggae festival is on its way as the National Alliance Foundation recently announced plans for its annual Reggae Summer Fest for Cancer Research concert, which will feature some top acts and entertainment.
The event, which hopes to attract reggae music lovers and people who have an affinity for Caribbean culture to the DC area, is scheduled for Sunday, August 30 in Washington, DC.
According to Yardflex.com, in addition to the musical fare which will include artistes such as Beenie Man, Capleton, Cocoa Tea, I-Wayne, Marcia Griffith, Jovi Rockwell, Mahmoud Ahmed from Ethiopia, Fire Star, Nesbeth and Terry Linen, there would be food and a variety of items from the many vendors who would be exhibiting.
The event will also see a number of bands including I-Ternals, Lionize, Raslidj & Deep Band playing Reggo, and Storm backing the artistes to provide high-quality diverse entertainment.
