KINGSTON, Jamaica - THE big man for the Portmore Empire, Vybz Kartel, has done a tribute song to fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt who obliterated his world record with a blistering run of 9:58 seconds at the World Championships in Berlin on Sunday, August 16.

According to One876entertainment, the song refers to Bolt as the “last man standing” and uses clever word play to chronicle the victory.

Although a bit witty, the song tells of the success of the young Jamaican in his recent victory. One verse goes: “Usain Bolt you straight, Tyson gay you ‘nuh’ know say Jamaicans no play, when you see the flag ‘ya’ clear the way. It goes on to say the fire that Bolt hurling, by the time the race done, the track was burning.

Bolt, in an interview sometime in the not too distant past, had mentioned Kartel as one of his favorite dancehall artistes; he cited Vybz Kartel because of his lyrical savvy and said they both have mutual respect for each other.
