‘One Blood’ singer Junior Reid summoned for fish money

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE ‘One Blood’ Jamaican signer, Junior Reid, was allegedly recently summoned for money he owes for some fish.

The singer should be appearing at the Linstead Resident Magistrate's Court on September 7, where he will answer to charges of owing the sum of $45 000.

According to the Jamaican Star, sometime back in June Reid took fish from the complainant, Besta Lloyd, with the agreement to pay for it after his annual show, Junior Reid Birthday Bash, held the same day in Portmore, St Catherine.

Having made a number of requests for his money and not receiving any favourable response from the artiste, legal redress was sought by Lloyd who went to the Spanish Town Court's office in St Catherine, where he secured a summons to serve on the entertainer.

Reid is best known for his hit song ‘One Blood’ which came out in the 90’s and was remixed later with US rapper The Game. He is also a known producer and has produced for fellow Jamaican artistes Snow, Dennis Brown and Gregory Issac.
