(CHARLESTOWN,NEVIS-Wednesday,August 19, 2009) The Premier and Minister of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration, the Hon. Joseph Parry, is expected to visit Lebanon on Thursday, August 20th, where he will discuss development of Nevis’ relation to Financial Services.
Permanent Secretary of Finance, Mr. Laurie Lawrence and Director of Financial Services Development and Marketing, Ms. Bernadette Lawrence will accompany the Premier on this trip. While in Lebanon the Premier will meet with policymakers, business leaders and economists.
Premier Parry said that the meeting will be of vital importance to Nevis as the island reaffirms its commitment to the growth of Nevis’s Financial Services.
The Premier is expected to return to the Federation on Tuesday, August 26th, 2009.
