CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – A man was found yesterday afternoon (Apr. 14) hanging by the neck from a piece of rope tied to a rafter of the roof in his Buck’s Hill home on Nevis.
The suspected suicide victim’s name was given as 39-year-old Ryan Richardson.
According to Commander of the Nevis Division of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Superintendent Lyndon David, the dead man’s brother had discovered the hanging body at around 12:30 p.m.
He also stated that investigations are ongoing and an autopsy would soon be performed to ascertain the cause of death.
