KITTS, AUGUST 20TH 2009 (SEN Consulting) - In its unwavering commitment to develop employees and further improve the department’s overall level of Customer/Client/Patient Service, the Human Resources and the Community Practice Departments, Ross School of Veterinary Medicine teamed up with SEN Consulting on Friday, August 14 and hosted the first of several workshops planned for the rest of this fiscal year.

Speaking with Mr. Michael Chapmen, the Human Resources Manager, he outlined that even when facing taut financial constraints as a result of the global economic downturn, the University would continue to make a concerted effort to live by its TEACH Values. That is, to enhance Teamwork and Communication, maintain Employee Focus, augment Accountability and Integrity, strive for Continuous Improvement, and Help its students excel.

The Seminar was held at OTI and was entitled “Promoting Teamwork in Organizations/Departments.” The Workshop was facilitated by Noah G. Mills, Managing Director of SEN Consulting.

In giving comments, Mills commended the ROSS Vet School for investing in staff advancement and outlined that this is key if this unique “Animal Hospital Facility”, which is the Community Practice Wing,  is to upkeep its Mission Statement - “To Provide Excellent Customer Service and Medical Care in a Professional Educational Environment.”

Some of the participants also weighed in on the Workshop, noting that it was lively, enlightening, informative, relevant, activity-filled, engaging, and most of all, LOTS of FUN!
