Digicel reward customers with “Feel Good Friday” initiative approximately hundreds persons benefit

    Basseterre, Saint Kitts & Nevis – April 26th 2019: Digicel St. Kitts & Nevis surprised both Kittitians and Nevisians with acts of kindness which touched the hearts of many whether or not they were Digicel customers. This initiative comes on the heels of the recent announcement by the company of a fully optimized network which offers super-fast data speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. 

     

    The decision behind this random act of kindness by the company was mainly to give back to their customers who have remained committed and loyal to the network as they underwent the transition. The first gesture started at six-thirty am on Friday April 26th with Digicel’s General Manager and Staff going out to the rural and urban communities, riding passenger buses around the federation, offering to pay in patrons’ bus rides. This gesture was received with wide praise and adoration from both drivers and passengers alike who all expressed their sincere gratitude for the kind gesture.  

    Continuing with the kindness, the company also afforded passengers of ferries at both the Charlestown and Basseterre piers who were Digicel LTE ready,   with a free trip to or from the respective ports. While at the pier, Human Resource Executive Jennifer Richards announced, “we love doing the little things, so the free rides are great, but we have so much more throughout the day that I am ecstatic to be a part of.” 

    The good deeds progressed, and took to Ram’s Supermarket and West Side Service Centre where customers were randomly presented with contributions toward their tabs at both establishments. “This campaign is a way to show the people in our communities how grateful we are for their support, while also promoting kindness from others” newly appointment General Manager of Digicel Dionne Emtage remarked. 

    The company also proudly announced the launched its new revolutionary “Supersize Plans” where customers can now benefit from an increased allotments of data, in some case double the previous amounts. Marketing Executive Yarayni Morton, when speaking to reporters said: “This is all very touching to me. I am thrilled to be part of this campaign to enrich our customers’ experiences with us, not just on a commercial level but with a deep connection to the generosity of our staff and Digicel family as well.”
