St. Kitts Father of Four Delighted with Super Lotto Win

I won! An elated James Matthew displays his cheque after winning $20,000 playing Caribbean Lottery’s Super Lotto Match 5 game
By: Caribbean Lottery, Press Release

May 31, 2019 – Basseterre, St. Kitts -- Government worker James Matthew bought two Caribbean Lottery tickets at different locations, and to his delight one was a winner.

“I’m always in the area,” said the father of four children. “I passed by and saw the “Jackpot” sign. I thought to myself, ‘Why not get that five million!” he chuckled. It turned out that his winning ticket brought him $20,000. This windfall, he says, will help him to achieve his goal of purchasing a house.

Sabina Harrinarain, Business Development Associate at The Caribbean Lottery in St. Kitts, congratulated Mr. Matthew on his win. “We are happy to hear that his win will go a far way towards the purchase of a house,” said Ms. Harrinarain. She pointed out: “Super Lotto is sold simultaneously in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Maarten and the U.S. Virgin Islands, reaching some 19 million people. Any one of them could become the next Super Millionaire.”

James Matthew, who said he started playing Caribbean Lottery games “a long, long time ago,” is an optimistic man. “I always play for the win!” he said. He had just returned from living in Trinidad, where he said lottery games are also popular. Caribbean Lottery games are available in five territories: Anguilla, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mr. Matthew is also quite ambitious, adding, “Of course I will continue playing. That five million is still out there!”
